Cover Story: Cardiotoxicity linked to alphachloralose poisoning is poorly understood, with few reported cases. We present a 5-year-old patient with moderate poisoning, marked by elevated troponin levels and a favorable outcome after symptomatic treatment. In silico analysis revealed 15 key targets, including STAT3, MMP2, and CASP3, providing insights into potential mechanisms of alphachloralose-induced cardiotoxicity and highlighting targets for therapeutic exploration.
